Merge All Your Firefox Addons to a Single XPI File
A Firefox addon is just a file with a .XPI extension. When Firefox encounters such a file, it tries to install whatever is present in it. Opening a file with the addons packed will install them all.
If you want to transfer all your addons to another Firefox installation then here is the tutorial to merge all your installed Firefox addons to a single XPI file which you can later use to install in the other Firefox installation:-
1. Install FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension).
2. Go to Tools ->FEBE ->FEBE Options -> Directory. Now choose a destination directory in which the XPI file will be saved.
3. Go to Tools ->FEBE ->Quick Backup and tick create Single XPI file and type the name for you XPI file.
4. Tick all the addons you need in the “Items to back up” section.
5. Click the “Backup Now” button.
A new XPI file will be created with the addons merged in the destination directory you specified. You can also use FEBE to back up other stuffs.
