Add "Search Google" or "Search Yahoo" Option in the Start Menu of Windows Vista & 7

If you want to add “Search Google” or ”Search Yahoo” in the start menu of Windows Vista and 7 then follow the steps below:
1. Type “gpedit.msc” in Run or Start Menu and press enter.
2. Navigate to User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Instant Search.
3. Double-click on “Custom Instant Search Internet search provider” and select “Enable”.
4. Type “Search Google” or “Search Yahoo“ in “The string or DLL resource” box.
5. At “The URL to use when invoking the custom internet search” box, type one of the URL’s given below:
For Google : http://www.google.com/search?q=%w
For Yahoo : http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=%w
6. Now click the OK button.
That’s it. Now check if the option is displayed in the Start Menu and if it’s not there then restart your computer and check once again.
