Add a Background Image to Explorer Toolbar in Windows XP
First see the screenshot below:

I have kept the Bliss wallpaper as my explorer toolbar’s background but you can keep any image with the extension .BMP. Just copy and paste the following code to Notepad and save it with the extension .REG and merge it:-
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar]
“BackBitmapShell”=”C:\WINDOWS\WebWallpaper\Bliss.bmp”
Note : If you want to set a different image, just replace “BackBitmapShell”=”C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper\Bliss.bmp” to “BackBitmapShell”=”location of image with double slashes because they are compulsory”.
