Set any Webpage as your Desktop Wallpaper in Windows XP

    I entered and saved: .

Next I saved it as an htm file. Then I entered the desktop browse window and found my saved htm file, then clicked on it. It doesn’t work. I get the following error message:

Cannot not find ‘file:///M:/Desktop%Backgrounds/”http://www.webshots.com”‘. Make sure the path or
Internet address is correct. Any suggestions???

Note: I am using Windows XP SP3.

Dude, I think know what you’re doing wrong.

You may have saved you’re file with ‘.com’ in the filename. This may confuse the computer into thinking it’s not an .htm file.

I would save it as something like “webshots.htm”

    See if that works.
