Disable the Maximum Download Limit in Internet Explorer 8
By default, Internet Explorer 8 limits the no. of files that can be downloaded at one time to six. So if you want to disable the download limit, you will just need to merge this small registry file.
Alternatively, copy and paste the below code into Notepad and save it with the extension .REG:-
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_MAXCONNECTIONSPER1_0SERVER] “iexplore.exe”=dword:00000010
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_MAXCONNECTIONSPERSERVER] “iexplore.exe”=dword:0000000a
Now merge the registry file and the download limit will be disabled.
