Shell Places Bar Editor: Add/Remove/Edit Items from the Places Bar
Many Windows users want to change or remove the Places Bar items. Although Windows Vista comes with a better Places Bar, customizing the Places Bar items is always a good idea to improve the navigation.
We can edit the Places Bar through many tools like Windows Registry, or Group Policy Editor but simple users can’t do it easily. So, for simple users there is a free tool called Shell Places Bar editor which is easy to use and lets users to edit the default places bar buttons easily. It lets users add or remove buttons and paths.
Users can also save the customized Places Bar scheme and then load it afterwards using the same program.
