Reset Akismet Spam Counter In WordPress
If you are using the Akismet plugin in WordPress then you might have noticed the number of spam comments in the Dashboard.
For some reason if you want to reset it, then here is the tutorial to do it:-
1. Goto http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php. (Replace “yoursite.com” to your site’s url.)
2. Search for “akismet_spam_count” with your browser’s search feature.
3. Replace the number on the text box near the text ”akismet_spam_count” with the number of spam comments you want to display in the Dashboard.
4. Scroll down the page and click on “Save Changes”.
That’s it.
