Adjust "Aero Peek" Desktop Preview Delay Time in Windows 7
Aero Peek is a new function in Windows 7 which allows users to temporarily view the desktop without minimizing any of the windows by hovering on the show desktop icon at the bottom-right corner. If you think that the delay time is very less, you can change it by following the tutorial below:-
1. Type regedit in run or start menu search box and press enter.
2. Go to:
3. Right-click on the right-side pane and select New -> DWORD (32-bit) value. Name the DWORD value DesktopLivePreviewHoverTime.
4. Double-click DesktopLivePreviewHoverTime and select Decimal.
5. Now type your desired number of milliseconds you want to wait for Aero Peek in the Value Data box.
That’s it. Now restart your computer for changes to take place.
If you want to restore the default settings again then simply delete the DesktopLivePreviewHoverTime DWORD value you have created in Step 3.
