Enable/Disable Wallpaper Change in Windows
Sometimes users want to restrict other users from changing the wallpaper in Windows. So, here is the tutorial to do it:
1. Type “regedit” in start menu search box or run and press enter.
2. Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
ActiveDesktop
3. Right-click on the right-side pane and select New ->DWORD (32-bit Value).
4. Name the DWORD value “NoChangingWallpaper” and double click on it.
5. Type “1” in the “Value Data” box.
That’s it.
If you want to enable wallpaper change again then delete the DWORD value you have created in Step 3.
You can also download a registry script to do the process automatically:-
