Get Transparent Taskbar & Start Menu

TransTaskBar is a free small portable tool which allows users to make their taskbar & start menu transparent. You can also adjust the transparency level.

It is created by ~Solo-Dev at deviantART.

There are two versions available, one is the GUI (Graphical User Interface) version and the other is the CLI (Command Line Interface) version.

You can use the CLI version in the following format:

TTB Transparency Value

For example, if you want to set the transparency level to 100, use the following command:

TTB 100

It works in Windows XP, Vista & 7.

In Windows 7, it replaced my Start bar with a white box with the text "Start". Not very useful after all.

I can't find a way to reverse the effect. Any suggestions? :|
  • Log-off and log-on your PC. It's some kind of bug in the program.

Yes, I just tried that and it solved the problem. Came back here to post that and it seems you've suggested the same thing! ;-) Thanks.
