Know The Disk Space Used by System Restore in Windows 7 & Vista

If you have turned on System Restore feature of Windows Vista & 7 then you may want to know about the disk space being used by system restore. You can get the information by following the tutorial below:-
1. Type “cmd” (without quotes) in Start Menu or Run and press the Enter key.
2. Type “vssadmin list shadowstorage” (without quotes) in Command Prompt and press the Enter key.
3. Now Command Prompt will give you the information.
If you want to save the information download this batch file and open it. The batch file will save the information in a file called Information.txt in the same folder where the the batch file is. (For example, the batch file is in C:, then the txt file will be in C:).
