Windows Defender is a anti-spyware software that’s included with Windows and runs automatically when it’s turned on.
If you have any other anti-spyware software and you want to disable or uninstall Windows Defender then you can follow the tutorial below to do so:-
1. Type in “services.msc” in start menu search box or run and press enter.
2. Scroll down the list and right-click on Windows Defender and select Properties.
3. Goto the General tab and set the start up type to “Disabled”.
4. Click on the Apply button.
That’s it. Now Windows Defender will be disabled.
Alternatively, you can also turn off Windows Defender from the program itself:-
1. Open Windows Defender.
2. Go to Tools>Administrator.
3. Deselect the option named “Use this program” and click Apply.
That’s it. Now Windows Defender will be turned off.
